wow, impressive! my only question is this: did you use some sort of guideline to draw this (an example being graph paper), and if you did what did you use? or did you do it free hand on a blank piece of paper? i draw the same type of designs and can do it on a blank piece of paper but it doesnt turn out as neat and aligned as what you drew above. i usually do mine on graph paper to fix that. anyway, i was just curious. and again its terrific work!

hey hello!
actually i kind of cheated here ;)
1. made a drawn design with free hand, only the outlines.
2. scan into the computer
3. use a drawing application (like Adobe Illustrator) to vectorize the outlines
4. duplicate a part of the drawing and copy and mirror it so that the design is perfectly symmetric in all directions.
5. make the whole very light (10%black 90%white)
6. print on A4
7. draw over the (nearly invisble) outlines and add details :D

Heey,

een tijdje geleden weer, maar ik had eigenlijk een vraag. Hoe maak jij de schaduw als een lijn onder een ander doorgaat? Wat ik ook probeer het schijnt maar niet te lukken..

beetje oefenen op een lost papiertje en het zal wel lukken.
gewoon je potlood heen en weer bewegen van links naar rechts en dan steeds minder druk zetten tot je een soort overloop krijg van donker naar licht.
